Maremma bike tour

Ernesto's favorite tour is "Massa Marittima", and he'll always manage to be the one who guides it. Various planned tours available every day, in small groups (around 10 people) based on individual skills. Our operators lead bikers on "Singletrails" and coach them in the downhill technique through the thick brushwood.

Sunday:
Halfdaytrip "GAVORRANO" (38 km; 750 difference in altitude)
in different groups we explore typically Tuscany hills on single trails or on dirt roads in order to find out, in which group everybody should fit from technical and fitness aspects during the next days.

Monday:
we ride on single trails nearly half of the tour! We gave a new shape to his very popular tour and improved it with additional trails. Nice tour for technically fit riders. However there are many possibilities for simplification for less experienced riders.

Tuesday:
Halfdaytrip "MAREMMA" (36 km; 650 difference in altitude)
tour with nice views on typically Tuscany landscapes (zypress alley, olive groves, vineyards, et cetera) and to the sea.

Wednesday:
Daytrip "CALA VIOLINA" (55 km; 500 difference in altitude)
relaxed biking on dirt roads to the sea (approx. 25 km). The trails close to the beach are mostly beautiful single trails. Afterwards we enjoy our picnic in the bay of Cala Violina and have the possibility to have a short swim in the refreshing sea. The way back home can be done by bike again or by our shuttle transfer.

Thursday:
Halfdaytrip "MASSA MARITTIMA" (33 km; 700 difference in altitude)
the tour starts with a nice technically uphill (about one hour - this uphill can be avoided by biking on dirt roads). A beautiful singletrail downhill leads to the next uphill up to Massa Marittima. After a coffee break downtown we hunt for the next trail to come home.

Friday:
Daytrip "MONTIONI" (65 km; 1200 difference in altitude)
this tour highlights the whole week. Varying ways (from single trails to dirt roads) lead to our picnic-place in the forest in the park of Montioni. Afterwards we enjoy nice views to the sea and single tracks in direction of Follonica. The way home leads mainly on dirt roads.

Information concerning length and differences in altitude are maximal. Our guides respecting the guest's wishes and possibilities will adapt the daily trips.
