Biography
I was born and I live in Tuscany. They are best known and appreciated for my photos of landscape and color in general, but I love photography as a whole, and my commitment varies from reportage to creative photography. I work often with geographic and travel magazines, but my pictures were published in newspapers and magazines of all kinds, in Italy and abroad. Special mention goes to the collaboration with National Geographic Italy. My work has been extensively reviewed in magazines, and my photos are often used in support of advertising campaigns for companies and government agencies. Since 1985, I joined the work of photographer to small publisher specializing in tourist publications (calendars, posters, postcards, photo books and guides). I published a dozen themed photo books, in the period from 1989 to present.
For over 12 years I began teaching courses, workshops and photo tours, both in Italy and abroad. Even here I want to emphasize my collaboration since 1994 with the Toscana Photographic Workshop www.tpw.it My photos about Tuscany can be found on the portal of which are Terraditoscana www.terraditoscana.com Photo Editor, one of the most comprehensive and most visited sites on Tuscany in the world. I realized sin'ora about 30 solo exhibitions, besides some group. In Italy I have exhibited at numerous venues, among which I quote the exhibition of the archaeological Scala family in Verona, with a major retrospective in the summer of 2003. Other countries where I have exhibited are: France. Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the United States. Some of my photos are shown in galleries and private collections. They are represented in Italy by the Milan Grace Blacks, who distributes my images and promotes my exhibition activity. In this connection I quote the exhibition curated and presented in summer 2006 at the Hilton Hotel in Milan, Italy sponsors Hilton Hotels and Epson.
